Simple, digital - school portal!
With the school portal you can easily communicate with class teachers and childcare groups via the app and digitally deregister your children from lessons and childcare.
In the city of Zug, the school portal will be the primary channel for digital communication between the childcare group or class teacher and parents or guardians from the 2023/24 school year.
In the municipality of Steinhausen, it will be introduced in stages from the 2024/25 school year.

Register now
Register for the school portal today and already benefit from the simplified communication.
To register for the first time, please follow these three steps:
- ZUGLOGIN: Apply for the ZUGLOGIN (if you don't already have one) by post or at the counter. The ZUGLOGIN is your individual and secure access to the eZug app. In the municipality of Steinhausen, you can also apply for the ZUGLOGIN at the school office and at selected school and extracurricular events.
- eZug app: Download the eZug app from the App Store or Play Store and log in with your ZUGLOGIN. The eZug app is your entry point to the school portal.
- School portal: Open the school portal as follows: In the "Settings" of the eZug app, the tile "School portal" can be activated under "Personalise home screen". The first time you open the school portal, you will be asked to enter the authorisation code for your child. You received this in the January 2023 parents' letter. Check and complete your profile data and settings. If you receive additional authorisation codes, you can enter them under "Classes" with the (+).
After completing these three steps, you have successfully registered your access to the school portal. In future, you will be able to access the digital portal directly via the school portal icon in your eZug app.

Other functions of eZug
eZug offers many other helpful functions in addition to the school portal. With the smart government solution, for example, you can request, manage and pay for documents quickly and easily, as well as identify yourself online, sign digitally and use various citizen services. All of this can be done conveniently via your smartphone.
